NICK BARROWS
... Nick Barrows came from the hills of the Westside of Cincinnati, Ohio were he began his first days of memory behind the bar of his father's Tavern down by the River Ohio. His works have appeared in Forklift, Ohio: A Journal of Poetry, Cooking, & Light Industrial Safety, Trained Monkey Press, Aurore Press, and the website, Semantikon. He was also the music editor for The Citizen. Music escapades include The 4 Track All-Stars, Eagle To Squirrel, and Jack Burton Overdrive. In 2007 Barrows released his chapbook, Rockets on Bibles, and in the past few years he has been seething in the concrete and playing concertina. Blog: http://www.nbboom.blogspot.com/

MARK FLANIGAN
Cincinnati writer Mark Flanigan has been churning out the work for over two decades now, his “Exiled” column having recently ended after an eleven-year run—first in X-Ray Cincinnati, then online at semantikon.com, and finally at CityBeat. A noted performer, critic Mark Sterner once said of Flanigan, “He is a born story teller, and his readings come off with the sheer delight in words and in the quirky sort of life they are capable of expressing… Flanigan’s exultant poetry, heard aloud in the theatre, reminds us of what it is to be alive.” Additionally, his free e-book, Minute Poems, is available online from Three Fools Press, and more work and information can be found at the author’s personal website, http://www.markflanigan.com/.

PILLOWBITER
Cincinnati no-core / noise tampered anti-punk institutionalist power-anxiety rippers and creep-crushing hyper-conscious slider jams / members of the anti-technocracy underground.

SEVEN SPEED VORTEX
Seven Speed Vortex is lyrical anachronism in short form noise pop, forming in the United States' Midwest in the summer of 1994. Website: http://www.hubcapart.com/7sv/index.html
